Compare the Buick Envision vs. the Competitition

See How the New Buick Envision Matches Up Against Its Competitors in Springfield, IL
The new Buick Envision is a plush compact luxury SUV with a slew of rewarding tech features, yet it costs less than most of its rivals. Springfield, IL drivers will like its calm, composed ride and outstanding fuel economy. Other small luxury SUVs like the new Lexus NX and Infiniti QX50 also have lots of standard features, but they don't offer as much value for the money as the Envision. S&K Buick GMC designed the following comparisons to explain why.
Standard Engine
The new Buick Envision comes standard with a turbocharged 228-horsepower four-cylinder engine that has plenty of oomph for passing on the highway in Sherman. It can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in seven seconds.
The new Lexus NX comes with a 203-horsepower four-cylinder engine. It takes 7.2 seconds for the NX to reach 60 mph from a standstill with its base motor.
The new Infiniti QX50's standard four-cylinder engine makes 268 horsepower, but its continuously variable automatic transmission causes the motor to be loud under heavy throttle.
Ride and Handling
The new Buick Envision has balanced driving manners that keep it relaxed over uneven pavement and planted around turns. Its light, quick steering and strong braking make it pleasant to drive on twisty roads in Lincoln.
The new Lexus NX has composed handling, but it lacks enough steering feedback or agility to feel sporty.
The new Infiniti QX50 rides comfortably, but its steering doesn't provide much feedback, and the brakes can be touchy at lower speeds.

Infotainment System
The new Buick Envision comes standard with a single 30-inch display that seamlessly blends the digital gauge cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. Voice control capability lets Decatur drivers operate it hands-free. Standard amenities in the Envision include wireless phone charging and wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
The new Lexus NX comes with a 9.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, although a 14-inch display is available for an additional cost.
The new Infiniti QX50 has a dual-display infotainment system with screens that are not very responsive. Its graphics look dated, and many features are only available through the touchscreens, which can be distracting while driving.
Safety Features
You'll feel confident cruising through Jacksonville, IL in the new Buick Envision. It comes standard with 12 driver assistance features, including a head-up display and a 360-degree camera system for easier parking.
The new Lexus NX only comes with six standard advanced active safety features. A head-up display and a surround-view camera system are available, but you must pay more for a higher trim to have them.
The new Infiniti QX50 comes standard with nine driver aids, but you have to pay extra for a head-up display or a 360-degree camera system.

Cabin Noise Levels
The new Buick Envision comes with Quiet Tuning technology and active noise cancellation for a serene, peaceful driving experience in Chatham.
The new Lexus NX is quiet most of the time, but its powertrain buzzes at higher speeds.
The new Infiniti QX50 has an unrefined continuously variable automatic that creates a noisy droning sound when you punch the gas pedal.
Price
Although it has a stronger base engine and more standard driver assistance features, the new Buick Envision's entry-level model costs around $2,000 less than the Lexus NX's base trim. Its starting MSRP is also nearly $3,000 less than the Infiniti QX50's base price.
