It sounds like a joke. The Hummer is known as a big, powerful, off-road, gas-guzzling vehicle that clears a path without honking its horn. So, when you hear "Hummer EV Bike," it just doesn't seem real. But this isn't a dream. And it isn't a test. The all-new electric Hummer EV Bike is the real thing. And it's coming here to S and K Buick GMC. Here's a quick look at what it's all about.
Let's say you have a light day at the office in Sherman or Lincoln. The sun is shining, and the weather couldn't be better. So, instead of taking your vehicle out of the garage, you glance at the Hummer EV Bike right beside it. And it's a great alternative.
The Hummer EV Bike is powered by dual electric motors rated at 750W continuous and 1,200W peak. In other words, the EV Bike sends out 2.4kW power, allowing a maximum speed of 28 MPH. You'll only need four hours to completely charge your Hummer Bike EV. It has up to 21 Ah LG battery (standard is 17.5 Ah) UL certified cells. The power pack is also waterproof, so there's no worries about damage if traveling in rain or watery paths.
The Hummer EV Bike delivers an impressive 160+ lb.-ft. of torque. Yes, you read that right. One hundred- and sixty-pound feet. That's comparable to a few four-cylinder engines in Lincoln or Decatur. There's five levels of pedal assistance and a removable thumb throttle controller on the handlebars.
The Hummer EV Bike has four-piston hydraulic brakes, adjustable front suspension, and a 9-speed Shimano drivetrain. With three drive modes, cruise, traction, and adrenaline, you'll have no problem digging into those off-road trails, slushing through snowy paths in Jacksonville, IL, or tackling an uphill climb. The Hummer Bike EV is also available with all-wheel drive to help when the going gets tough.
Meaty, 4-inch puncture-resistant tires with molded in-liner reinforce your toughness on the go. Metal fenders and a heavy-duty rack help create a sturdy ride with room to carry heavier things in the back. Heavy-duty fenders and
